About
The Log of a Cowboy by Andy Adams is a semi-autobiographical novel that chronicles the journey of a young cowboy, Tommy Moore, on a cattle drive from Texas to Montana in the 1880s. The story vividly portrays the challenges and camaraderie of life on the trail, including encounters with harsh weather, river crossings, Native Americans, and cattle stampedes. Adams offers an authentic depiction of the cowboy lifestyle, avoiding romanticized stereotypes. The novel captures the grit, humor, and spirit of the Old West through rich storytelling and detailed realism. Summary of Dream Audiobooks
