About
Welcome to VetMedMelanin! A safe place created for vet students and other veterinary professionals BY a first year vet student. Made to promote diversity, awareness and education from the point of view of a Black girl who happens to be studying for a profession that is the least statistically diverse in the country. Come and follow my struggles, and new experiences as we tackle issues within the veterinary profession. So, grab your earbuds and lint brushes--it'a about to get hairy!
